Happy Motivational Memorial day Monday
This blog contains Great analogy and great motivational analogy of my experience and what I also observed as well
What A Week it has been and oh man the big game that was played fighting into a Playoff spot has been man talk about the battle of the final playoff spot it was so great. They way the energy was shown and on top of that there was a lot of urgency and energy in the game especially where the game even went to overtime and man I was like you talk about a game that was full of energy and resilience, and urgency aw man we got one heck of a game where they showed what was on the line based on how they play and on top of that the game went to overtime and it even went down to the wire until the end where it was really great.
March Madness is one of the most exciting basketball events in March and the best intense competition and watching how they play is very phenomenal to watch. Growing up I slowly got into March Madness, I was watching College basketball here and there and even seeing the talent of Duke and even the talent of Louisville where I grew into watching Louisville even as Rick Pitino becoming one of my favorite coaches. The culture and the function of basketball and even the tournament where it is one and done is some thing very exciting to watch. I was watching college basketball highlights as a kid and but beforehand I would watch NBA as well as a kid. It was a very memorable moment.
Oprah Winfrey is one of the most millionaire and successful women in today's era. I remember watching Oprah Winfrey as a child and didn't realize how successful the show was, because I was a child I didn't understood her as much until I got older. The most awesome thing I slowly started to learned is her show brought her to so much success, and eventually becoming an entrepreneur that brought her in so many different adventures. And even getting her OWN Network as well. See what I did there. But what was the journey like before that led her to where she got to? Well like many she had the strongest Rags to Riches Story.
Something I learned about the Irish Step dance is a lot of steadiness and on top of that the dance is tough to learn but however fun and on top of that learning and really the practice takes a load of work but can really payoff as well and I think it can really benefit for athletes as well. The basketball player who competed and displayed the discipline of a Fighting Irish was something very phenomenal, just the player herself from her own pedigree that she created.
Thursday was the big International Women's day, and it was a big honor all over the social media and even all over television as well. One of the biggest athletes to bring up on International Women day is a great woman of ambition and talent and even fearlessness, but however brings fierce of her own. She is a professional wrestler and has been on a great winning run since almost 2015 and this woman who has made a great accomplishment in wrestling and has been overcoming all odds and even setting records and on top of that making a huge name for herself and it is even continuing till this day today. This woman wrestler's name is indeed Asuka.
It has been 22 years since the biggest accomplishment in NBA History. After Michael Jordan's 2 1/2 year absence from the NBA, the Houston Rockets won 2 championships during the absence of Michael Jordan and on Top of there were 2 different faces of the East, that were in the NBA Finals. The appearance of The Magic Who took out Michael Jordan and the Bulls, who made a mid season comeback in the 94-95 Season. The big absence of Michael Jordan was a huge surprising, especially when he announced his retirement in the near prime of his career. And apparently it was so unplanned even though he did face off court controversy. Returning to the NBA was one thing but returning for a full season to make another big impact was another huge thing that was a huge surprise.
Happy Fruition Friday, and the fruition I want to talk about is the Presidents day it has been 5 days since Presidents and It came into my mind about this great President Barack Obama and his catchphrase "Yes We can". Almost 10 years ago, Barack was running for President. The impact of his running was against all odds where he was against Hillary Clinton, and even John McCain. The speech of his Yes we can speech was inspired to be turned into a song as well, led by Will.I.Am. The reason for this big speech well Possibly was because over the years the change continued from Martin Luther King to Malcolm X and even Jackie Robinson as well. Looking at so many possibilities of what happened where changed continued for decades and the blessing is there is always room for change as well.
Hey everybody Happy black history Month. The story of an rags to riches has been the most inspirational story and there has been great stories of those. I remember watching a great movie that talked about interesting rags to riches story. This great man made a great quote and it was "I was homeless, but I wasn't hopeless. I knew a better day was coming." Well this quote matched so well with his story and I was sure based on his struggles and based on the challenges he had to overcome, coming from so many struggles not just as an adult, but also in his childhood as well, and for sure it was the toughest obstacle from adult childhood. His situations had pushed him to extreme greatness and really got him studying and even pursuing the job he really wanted and even going after the opportunity and continuing to keep fighting and even finally getting the job he was hoping for. Hearing the term Pursuit of Happyness even though it is properly spelled Happiness, and oh man he did pursuit and he did succeeded. Going from being homeless to being a Multimillionaire was the biggest accomplishment, I don't care how many people have done it it continues to being one of the biggest accomplishments that is hard to do but was made easy by people who accomplished it. The person I am talking is Christopher Paul Gardner and oh man it was an inspiration remembering the movie Pursuit of Happyness, and watching the movie transitioned to something very surprising and uplifting.
This Past Sunday had the revolutionary Women's Royal Rumble Match, and especially learning how the women in the Wrestling industry has build their way up. It took years and even an area that has been brought to another level, and a certain someone to bring the revolution out of the shadow and into the light of growth and even rocking the boat in the most positive way. Seeing how the women wrestling change overtime and on top of that seeing all the ups and downs over the years man it has been really hard to imagine as well. Going from being sexy. smart and powerful divas, to building the revolution and evolution of women.
Man I got to tell you Monday was a well experienced thing for me and learning quite a bit for my brother was very interesting. We both are sports fans so we heard Bill Belichick's usual phrase, "We are onto Seattle", or we are on to Tennessee, or we are onto Philadelphia. Well the analogy of the situation is what are you focused on what is the eye really on, the prize or the problem in front of you. Or the distraction or even the noise that is distracted you from the main focus. Or even the prize you are fighting towards. For myself I struggle with dealing with silly problems that can be dismissed or even dealing with and a more compatible way, and the problem is trying to not take it seriously by seeing where my stage of life is, and even how to face the problem and deal with it and let it pass by.
