NBA Playoffs Weekend: Tackling Tuesday

What A Week it has been and oh man the big game that was played fighting into a Playoff spot has been man talk about the battle of the final playoff spot it was so great. They way the energy was shown and on top of that there was a lot of urgency and energy in the game especially where the game even went to overtime and man I was like you talk about a game that was full of energy and resilience, and urgency aw man we got one heck of a game where they showed what was on the line based on how they play and on top of that the game went to overtime and it even went down to the wire until the end where it was really great.


The Timber wolves and The Nuggets was the game I was really looking forward to because they had the same records and tied in the final playoff spot rank and it was a tie breaker in a win or go home scenario.  Seeing the game where it was nervous because I was really hoping to see The Timberwolves back in the playoffs but when I saw another tough team in the Denver Nuggets fighting for the last spot it was very intense to watch but very worthy of watching, because it showed urgency and energy and even teamwork, the one thing Jimmy Butler mentioned in his interview. e Seeing the energy and even the flow of the game told a story of who wanted it more. The game was mostly neck and neck and even where teams saw their leads slipped through their fingers, because teams were fighting to gain the lead as well.

The reason I felt this game had so much energy and resilience is because the Timberwolves were facing a drought, a playoff drought where the team was fighting and is desperate for the team ending their drought. It reminded me where a guy who is stranded in the desert or woods looking for water and food and does whatever it takes to find resources and food, or in a group analogy taking teamwork to move something heavy or even fish or hunt for animals, or even move something heavy across or even out of a room, but it took energy and even took intensity and the fight to win and making the presence felt for the victory to even happen. The fact that the playoff spot was on the line and they had the tiebreaker also displayed great energy in the game as well.

One Player I had to give Kudos to in this game is Tahj Gibson, he played a fantastic defense and even playing great lock down defense towards the end of the game when the situation called for it as well. For my own experience the way I saw his energy the question is how intense are you, when you face a critical fighting situation. What I mean by fighting is is how focused and determined are you when you are fighting for a prize or even a reward?

March Madness thriving Weekend

March Madness is one of the most exciting basketball events in March and the best intense competition and watching how they play is very phenomenal to watch. Growing up I slowly got into March Madness, I was watching College basketball here and there and even seeing the talent of Duke and even the talent of Louisville where I grew into watching Louisville even as Rick Pitino becoming one of my favorite coaches. The culture and the function of basketball and even the tournament where it is one and done is some thing very exciting to watch. I was watching college basketball highlights as a kid and but beforehand I would watch NBA as well as a kid. It was a very memorable moment.

When I was in 8th grade I slowly got into March Madness I thought it was very phenomenal to watch. Mostly because of the intense competition, and on top of that how competitive they are even with less than a minute to play. The desire of their competitiveness has produced upsets and even maybe top dog victories as well. Even on The day of the tournament where there are so many games going on and so much hype going on as well. Makes College Basketball so exciting to watch as well.

Watching top teams Like Duke, or even UNC, or even Villanova push themselves all the way to the finals is quite an accomplishment. Then You have the underdog teams like Butler or even Loyola-Chicago Make it all the way to at least the final four or even the National Championship is quite a big accomplishment.  Seeing an underdog team like Butler who didn't have a lot of top NBA Prospects other than Shelvin Mack or even Gordon Hayward showed how it meant to have a coach who produced a great system within the team. Even Coach K who is the Coach of Duke continuing to have a consistent team no what what the talent is on the roster it is extremely phenomenal to watch.

Watching College Basketball and watching how they compete is the best thing to watch because there is so much energy and so much exhilaration. The Tournament is in a one and done format so there is no second chance. The real question is in my experience is are you willing to bring the energy and intensity until it is said over, or even until the fat lady sings.  Showing the resiliency in those games where it is about carrying the team to win and on top of that it is about the tam and not just about the star. Seeing the level of competition and even hearing shocking stories of consequences where they get vacated championships like Louisville or even Memphis due to consequences can be brutal but the fact still remains that they made the accomplishment and because it took discipline and even hard work to win the championship or at least made the final four. Understanding the song "One Shining Moment" where you have one shining moment on any stage of life where you are fighting to Accomplishment.
